Magic, Reality, Fiction

Just another TED video I watched. This one is short.

Realistic ECT

A TED video about electro-compulsive therapy from someone who has undergone treatment. Since I have a mental illness, I want to share this.

A Journey to Saturn

Saturn is my favorite planet. The video starts off a bit dry, but gets better. It gives you a new perspective of our place in the universe. There's also geology in it! Yes, another TED video.

Choking Creativity?

Another TED video found here. I guess I have to say it: we are living in a digital world. So much stuff is available that copyright are going to have to change, and making them stricter is not going to help. We spread culture through the viral world.

How Well Do You Know Earth?

The largest waterfall is in the ocean. Vampire squids exist. There's fire deep in the sea. The ocean controls the climate, our water supply, the air we breathe, yet we've only explored 5% of it. Another TED lecture found here.

Dance and Graphic Art

I am a huge fan of TED lectures, so I will post my favorites here. This first one is 11 minutes long, but definitely worth it. This girl creates a video, then does the motions for it live. She choregraphs the scenes and acts them out without looking at the screen. The music is just perfect, and it exemplifies the talent that is out there.
